हम सभी कुछ ना कुछ वैबसर्विस प्रयोग जरुर करते है। वैबमेल, फोटो स्टोरेज, सोशल नैटवर्किंग इनके कुछ उदाहरण है। अक्सर हम इन सभी जगहों पर अपना कोई एक ही यूजरनेम प्रयोग करते है। आइए इस जुगाड़ से देखें कि आप किन किन वैब सर्विसेस पर पंजीकृत है और किन किन जगहों पर आपका यूजरनेम उपलब्ध है।
If ever there are bravery awards in Indian web industry, I am sure, this will be awarded to India Times. They have failed several time with their web service products, e.g. IndiaTimes dot com ( A web portal, where it’s difficult to find any content), O2 (Failed blogging service), Phatchicks (Sleazy chat service), iTimes ( dukhi social networking) and now they are coming up with another service. This time it’s a digg clone Hotklix (what a name!, I think they desperately need a product naming consultant.) Let us wait and see, how far it goes?
अगर कभी भारतीय वैब सर्विस इंडस्ट्री मे वीरता और बहादुरी का पुरस्कार दिया जाए तो मेरे विचार से इंडियाटाइम्स वालों को मिलना चाहिए। इन्होने जितने भी प्रोडक्ट बाजार मे उतारे वे इतनी बुरी तरह पिटे कि पूछो मत। लेकिन ये लोग है कि हार नही मानते। इन्होने अपने पोर्टल इंडियाटाइम्स को जितना चूं चूं का मुरब्बा बनाया वो किसी से छिपा नही है। फिर बारी हाई O2 ब्लॉगिंग सेवा की, जो कभी भी चल ना सकी, फिर चैट सर्विस फैटचिक्स (क्या वाहियात नाम है!) वो भी धराशाई हुआ, फिर बारी आई सोशल नैटवर्किंग iTimes की जो भी बुरी तरह पिटा। अब इस कड़ी मे शामिल होने जा रहा है HotKlix (वाहियत नाम मे आगे की कड़ी) डिग का भारतीय संस्करण। अब देखते है इसका क्या बनता है।
